Fox Licensing and Merchandising and McFarlane Toys teamed up to create an all-new line of action figures based on characters from the hit TV series The Simpsons. The figures, including Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, will capture some of the most unforgettable moments from the series, according to Peter Byrne, executive vice president of licensing and merchandising at Fox. The new line of Simpsons toys includes two limited-edition boxed sets to be released this fall for a suggested retail price of $9.99 each, and the other action figures will hit shelves in 2006.
